BaSE has many producers working for about 37 years and more. Due to old age some producers suffering eye problems! So, BaSE took initiative to conduct an eye check-up with Khulna prominent Ophthalmologist.
After the primary screening of 15 producers, we found in different groups require medical attention. On 12 January we bring women producers from the villages and a day-long check-up has been made in Khulna.
After check-up doctor prescribes Glasses and Medicine to 12 producers and 3 producers require operations.
So, we provided Glasses and Medicine according to the prescription, and also eye operation has been done successfully. We cover all the traveling, food, and medical costs. We thank the PRICE IS RICE project for its generous support of this initiative.
